OMG, what a star find. The quality and presentation of the food was exceptional. Holly and the team were so friendly and efficient. One of the best places to eat. Highly recommended. Thank you from Lee and Teddy the dog.

Delicious food, friendly staff and reasonable prices. It can be very busy but good atmosphere. People rave about the homemade cakes and the coffee is good.

This was first class - the food was beautifully presented and tasted sublime. The smoked mackerel was subtle and moist and paired well with the remoulade - I'd come back for that alone. The scone was probably the best I've tasted. This place knocks spots off anywhere else locally. I won't need an excuse to come back

Really beautiful little cafe. Popped out for breakfast expecting to find somewhere serving a full English. Hygge was the only place we could find open and although it wasn’t what I was expecting I was not disappointed. Food was delicious and you could really taste the quality of the ingredients, staff were lovely and the place was very clean with great atmosphere If I’m ever passing through again I’d definitely drop by

Friendly,.cosy place. Our order.was brought to us -first time and mid afternoon so probably shouldn't expect this all the time(?). Cinnamon bun was just right - delicious and not too much sugar. The coffee was smooth although do like a bit more strength I understand the catering for all takes priority. There is plenty of outside seating.

Cafe Hygge is one of my all time favourite cafés. Delightfully welcoming and cosy, with good coffee and top notch cake game (Bakewell tart, lemon meringue, warm cinnamon swirls and the cheesiest of cheese scones) - it feels like a home from home. Because of this it was an easy choice to make when I needed some food for a private event. And boy did Cafe Hygge do an excellent job. The pictured grazing platters were decadent and went down a storm with my guests. Honestly, I can't recommend this place enough. Thanks Chef Janet for your amazing work.

Simple, clean, friendly, thoughtfully decorated cafe with good coffee and great food. I had a brie and bacon toastie with cranberry. This came as a flatbread with decent bacon, didn’t skimp on the brie either and came with leaves and tomatoes. So nice I ordered another one to take away! Well worth a visit. (I should also say the loo at the back was as clean and pleasant as the rest of the cafe).

A lovely little café, warm and friendly with great food. I had a double egg and bacon roll which was absolutely fabulous, fully flavoured bacon and two eggs so you don’t have to have one side dry. I had a flat white which was a bit too milky for me, but they do a Cortado which packs a bit more punch although for me it could do with even more punch on the coffee aspect. Definitely recommend on will come again. Oh, and most importantly, they are very dog friendly and offer puppucinos, whipped cream with a dog biscuit for your pooch.
